Worth mentioning: the menu

No need for breakfast at home, or to leave early – you won’t go hungry at ProductCamp!

For breakfast we’ll have some nice treats: croissants, pain au chocolat, mini pies, and even macaroons & brownies. And of course your coffee addiction will be in safe hands! Lunch is fully taken care of as well, with lots of choice in sandwiches.

To end the day in style we’ll have drinks & snacks, with little delicacies such as Bacalhao croquettes from Portugal, mini pumpkin quiches, etc. No reason not to stay a little longer & mingle .

Vodafone has graciously offered to host ProductCamp Amsterdam 2012 on the 6th floor of their headquarters in Amsterdam!

The venue is situated within walking distance from Central Station, so it’s easily reachable from any part of the city, and it provides an amazing view of Amsterdam, overlooking the IJ river.

The 6th floor of Vodafone HQ currently houses Startupbootcamp, a 3 month acceleration program that connects startups to mentors and advisors, provides seed funding, and provides a chance to pitch to top angel investors and venture capitalists for funding at the end of this program.

We’re very happy to have found this space, and would like to extend a big thanks to Vodafone for hosting us. See you there!

In the previous editions many of our attendees were part of relatively small and young organisations, leading to very interesting discussions with participants from larger organisations.

But what happens when an organization is acquired? How does it change product management and product marketing? We don’t have the answer, so we’ve invited speakers from several organizations to speak about their first-hand experience on this topic.

Let’s put the acquired versus the acquiring

We’ve invited Kevin Voges, co-founder of personal finance web-app Yunoo, along with Mohammed Amri, senior product manager at AFAS, a major ERP provider. AFAS incorporated Yunoo under the name of AFAS Personal 1 year ago, so it’s time to reflect.

Add to the mix speakers from Planon (acquired French Canadian ‘Site-Alpha’ in 2011) and Soocial (acquired by Viadeoo in 2011), and we will start the day with a very interesting session that will get many of you excited.

We’ve decided to hold the fourth edition of the ProductCamp on Sunday November 4th, 2012! More information will become available in the coming weeks and we’ll keep you posted through the website, our newsletter and Twitter. For now, please mark the date in your agenda.  Registration is open!
